Nothing Ventured - In Conversation with Theo Priestley

The Future Is Now, Artificial Intelligence, Education, Future of Work, Brain Computer Interfaces, Metaverse and the Convergence

👋🏾 Hey there!

Another great episode of Nothing Ventured out today, one I really enjoyed recording and hopefully that you’ll enjoy listening to.

In it, I talk to Theo Priestley - Futurist, Author, Advisor and Speaker - about where we are today and what the future might look like for us and more importantly our kids and the generatios to come.

I love feedback so, tell me your thoughts on the episode, what I could do better, who you’d like to hear from and anything else you might want to let me know - just reply to this mail :)

I’m also very open to conversations, so give me a follow on LinkedIn, Twitter (at least until it implodes), Instagram and now Threads and drop me a note :)

Don’t forget to like, rate and subscribe to Nothing Ventured on Apple, Spotify or YouTube, it really helps more people see what we’re doing!

With that said, let’s get into it.

In conversation with Theo Priestley - Futurist, Advisor, Author and International Speaker

Sometimes things converge in unexpected ways.

I had started following Theo ago because I was intrigued by his thoughts on where the world was heading. Often expressed with a healthy dose of irony and frequently with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

Then a few years ago I read The Future Starts Now: Expert Insights into The Future of Business, Technology and Society - co authored by Theo and Bronwyn Williams (guest number 6 on the podcast) - and this series of essays delving into both the potential for dystopian as well as utopian futures was as challenging as it was enjoyable.

Given where the world has found itself in 2023, I couldn’t think of anyone I’d rather have to give their views on what the future might hold, and how we should prepare ourselves for it.

Strap in, it’s going to get interesting…
